Assist the Secretary for Food and Health in formulating, co-ordinating and implementing policies on agriculture, fisheries, food safety, veterinary public health and environmental hygiene Support the Secretary for Food and Health in explaining and defending policies, securing support of the public and Legislative Council Assist the Secretary for Food and Health in acquiring and deploying resources to support the implementation of policies and delivery of services Ensure proper use of financial resources within the Food Branch and manage the staff in the branch and the executive departments under the branch
