Terms of reference
- To supervise the management and investment
of the Fund.
- To develop the procedures for inviting applications
for health projects, preventive care, research
or other related activities and the criteria
for vetting them.
- To approve applications and allocate funds
for health promotion projects, preventive care,
research or other related activities.
- To monitor the progress and evaluate the
outcome of approved health promotion projects,
preventive care, research or other related activities.
- On the recommendation of Chief Executive,
Hospital Authority and Director of Health, to
consider providing financial support for patients
in need to receive treatment that is not available
in Hong Kong.
