From September 13, 2012
onwards, the Government will adjust its strategy.
FEHD will continue to monitor the collection of
plastic pellets and deploy manpower if necessary.
The Marine Police and Marine Department will continue
to stay viligant and report any plastic pellets
detected in discharging their duties. Members
of the public may report the presence of plastic
pellets and relevant departments will follow up
the reports. The hotline set up by the Government
for this purpose is as follows:
