SHWF saddened by death of ward attendant

The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr Yeoh Eng-kiong, was deeply saddened to hear the death of a ward attendant of the Prince of Wales Hospital.

"She was infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome while taking care of patients. I am deeply sorry for the loss of this dedicated staff," Dr Yeoh said.

He expressed heartfelt condolences to her family.
