SHWF to visit Beijing

The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr York Chow, together with members of the medical profession, will call on the Ministry of Health in Beijing tomorrow (September 29).

The purpose of the visit is to promote closer cooperation and experience sharing between the medical profession in Hong Kong and the Mainland, and to allow the local medical sector to gain a better understanding of the medical landscape on the Mainland including the opportunities and challenges.

Dr Chow will leave for Beijing this evening (September 28) and return to Hong Kong tomorrow.
