Figures on supply of live pigs

The Food and Health Bureau has released the following updated daily figures on the supply of live pigs in Hong Kong:-

The supply of Mainland live pigs to Hong Kong yesterday (July 12) was 3,921 pigs. Taking into account the local live pig supply, the overall supply of live pigs in Hong Kong amounted to 4,686 pigs. The average wholesale price per kilogramme ranged from $17.20 to $17.80.

As at 5.30pm today (July 13), the number of Mainland live pigs supplied to Hong Kong was about 3,620 while the number of local live pigs was 690. Total live pigs supply amounted to about 4,310 head.
