Figures on supply of live pigs

The Food and Health Bureau releases the following updated daily figures on the supply of live pigs in Hong Kong:-

The supply of Mainland live pigs to Hong Kong yesterday (July 17) was about 3,490 pigs. Taking into account of the local live pig supply, the overall supply of live pigs in Hong Kong amounted to about 4,310 pigs. The average wholesale price per kilogramme ranged from $17.2 to $17.8.

As at 5.30pm today (July 18), the number of Mainland live pigs supplied to Hong Kong was about 3,800 while the number of local live pigs was 730. Total live pigs supply amounted to about 4,530 heads.
