It was organised by 17 Mainland government bodies including the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SATCM). The nation-wide campaign will last for three years across the Mainland.

The Hong Kong programme will enable the local community to gain a better understanding on Chinese medicine and will be beneficial to its development, he added.

Dr Chow expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Health, SATCM and relevant Mainland bodies for their invaluable support. He also thanked the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong, Hospital Authority, schools of Chinese medicine of local universities and the Chinese medicine sector for their contribution in lining up activities for the public.
