The Health Care and Promotion Fund Committee and its Promotion Sub-committee abide by internationally recognised standards of personal information and comply with the local requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. The Code of Practice on Data Confidentiality and the Use of Data for Medical Research (PDF file) is a reference guideline for principal applicant and administering institution. It is the principal applicant and administering institution responsibility to ensure that any conditions relating to data protection in Hong Kong are observed.
