Terms of reference

1. To determine research agenda and funding control mechanism of the Health and Medical Research Fund;
2. To approve procedures for inviting, and criteria for vetting grant applications;
3. To approve standard terms and conditions for grant holders;
4. To approve funding allocation after peer review process;
5. To approve processes for the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of approved research / projects;
6. To establish Grant Review Board to carry out the technical work of the Research Council;
7. To disseminate key findings of funded projects; and
8. To supervise the management and investment of the fund.
