SFH comments on WHO's decision
In response to a decision made by the World Health Organisation��s emergency
committee of experts to raise the level of pandemic alert to level 4, the
Secretary for Food and Health, Dr York Chow, said,
"Hong Kong has already moved ahead of developments and activated our serious
level of response and accordingly has put in place a full range of
preventive measures, well geared towards managing escalating risk.
The Steering Committee regarding pandemic preparedness will meet again this
morning (April 28) to review if further measures are called for. There will
be announcement after the meeting."
