Diabetes-friendly Recipes

Pea Sprout and Shrimp Cakes

Pea Sprout and Shrimp Cakes

Ingredients:

  1. Shrimp (without shell) 4 taels (160 g)
  2. Pea sprout 1 tael (40 g)
  3. Cooking oil 2 tsp

Seasonings:

  1. Salt 1⁄4 tsp
  2. Pepper a pinch
  3. Cornstarch 1⁄2 tsp

Method:

  1. Rinse the shrimps and wipe dry. Then pat them with a knife until pasty. Rinse the pea sprouts and blanch, slightly cut.
  2. Add the pea sprouts and seasoning into the shrimps and then mix together in one direction to form the shrimp paste.
  3. Heat oil in a wok/pan. Shape the paste into 8 pieces and pan-fry the shrimp cakes until the two sides turn golden brown and cooked. To serve.
