Diabetes-friendly Recipes

Rice Dumpling with Red Bean Paste

Rice Dumpling with Red Bean Paste

Ingredients:

  1. Glutinous rice flour 50 g
  2. Water Approx. 3 tbsp
  3. Soy flour 3 tbsp

Red Bean Paste:

  1. Red bean 30 g(soak for 2 hours)
  2. Cane sugar 10 g
  3. Cooking oil 1⁄2 tsp

Method:

  1. Boil the red bean in appropriate amount of water until tender and water dries. Put in oil and sugar, stir while cooking until it turns pasty.
  2. Put the glutinous rice flour in a bowl and add 3 tablespoons of water. Knead gently to form soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into 10 pieces. Pack into the amount of red bean paste and knead into balls. Cook in boiling water. Then drain the water and sprinkle with soy flour.
