Chinese Medicine Hospital Project Office (CMHPO) was established under the Health Bureau (the former Food and Health Bureau) on 2 May 2018 to take forward the planning and development of the Chinese medicine hospital (CMH). CMHPO brings together a group of enthusiastic healthcare professionals, architectural professionals and government officials to exchange opinions on the development of the CMH. The major initiatives of the CMHPO are:

• Oversees the development of the CMH project;
• Matters regarding the planning, design, construction and commissioning of the CMH; and
• Contract management of the Contractor and Operator of the CMH on the preparation work for service commencement and operation of the CMH.
